I hope so! No moderation! LOL...glad to see you here...Lexi is sooooo cute!!! ;) And we have the same number of Danes, HA! Are we nuts? 5? LOL

I have cats too, as some of you do.  Have you had a problem with interaction between Dane and feline?  I am a little worried about my cats as Rocky seems very interested in them.  He gets very still and just stares head down.  I squirt him with a water bottle sometimes otherwise I try and distract his attention away from them.  Help.

Hmmm, I don't have indoor cats because with 5 Danes of so many ages, it would be hard to incorporate a kitten without the poor little thing getting eaten...I wish I could...but a friend of mine has  danes and cats that live very nicely with each other...

I have video of them all sleeping together on a futon, but there are these occasions where he looks so intense.  Time may be what is needed. 

Hi, everyone.  I cant wait to get to know you guys and everyone's danes!  Im owned by black and merle danes right now.  within 2 weeks, I'll be owned by 3 danes.  and I also have one wonderful watch dog outside.

Love the new page Nancy and thanks for the invite.  Are you sure you want ME on your group????  I didn't see a place to sign in so I just came here and I am typing and see if it goes through.  Not real sure how this works yet but you know me I will figure it out.  BTW, I was not home last night (went to a girls basketball game and then to E&P) but I did get your message when I came home.  I will talk to you today about it.

See what I mean, lol.  When I follow the link that you gave it brings up the page but it is signed in on Lynn and I don't know how to sign in on my name (sorry Lynn, lol).  You know I need a manual to get anything done, lol.

Thank you for the invite. As an introduction I am John Carter, a hospital pharmacist for St. John's Medical Center in St. Louis Missouri. My wife and I have had Danes off and on since the early 1980's but we are still learning.  Got involved with the now defunct Great Dane Lifeline in St. Louis and fostered several Danes till they gained their forever home. I am now a foster failure with a beautiful little harl named Lucy and of course my brindle Stormy, not an adoptee. Looking forward to getting to know some Dane people and hearing all the happy and unfortunately some of the sad ones also.

Yes, I have cats with my Danes. No problems, most cats can stick up for themselves. To tell you the truth, my cat rules my house. The only thing I really watch out for is a claw to the eye.

But if you train your Danes to respect and have manners in your house, I don't see you having a problem.

WE HAVE 1 CAT SHE IS 16 ; SO SHE WAS HERE FIRST. ALL OF OUR DANES WERE AFRAID OFF HER . SHE WOULD HIDE & JUMP OUT AT THEM . IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOO FUNNY!!!! SHE IS ABOUT 5LBS. THEY ARE 135+.
